Catering to individuals who own second homes in Florida, Liliana Bordallo has served as the director of Miami-based Household Services Lilis Inc. for over a decade. In her spare time, Liliana Bordallo enjoys visiting the beaches of Key Biscayne, Florida.

Key Biscayne is a tropical destination with numerous activities to pursue, even after the sun goes down–or before it rises.

While in Key Biscayne, consider taking a 150-minute moonlit canoe trip that leaves from the Crandon Park Marina. This excursion provides adventure seekers with a tour of coves and canals, the wild mangrove preserve, and a chance to see brown pelicans, white ibis, great blue herons, and double-crested cormorants while paddling past a rookery.

If you prefer to stay onshore, consider dancing at Stefano’s Lounge located on Crandon Boulevard. Known as a popular spot for Latin dancing, the lounge gets the action started around 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and the festivities continue through the night until 5 a.m.

After a night of canoeing or dancing, consider checking out Donut Gallery Diner. Located on Harbor Drive, this 41-year-old diner opens at 5:30 a.m. and features a classic 1950s atmosphere and counter seating.
